Track, organise, and follow up on your job applications
Application Tracking
Every application you generate in SnapCV is saved automatically. The application
tracking features (available on Starter and Career Boost plans) let you manage
your entire job search from one place.
Your Application Dashboard
The dashboard shows all your applications with:
- Job title and company
- Date generated
- Current status
- Quick links to the generated CV and cover letter
Application Statuses
Update the status of each application as it progresses:
- Applied — Documents sent, waiting to hear back
- Interview — You’ve been invited to interview
- Offer — You’ve received an offer
- Rejected — The application was unsuccessful
- Withdrawn — You decided not to proceed
Keeping statuses up to date gives you a clear picture of where your job search
stands.
Viewing a Past Application
Click any application to see:
- The job listing you applied to
- The exact CV that was generated for this role
- The cover letter that was generated
- The current status and history
This is useful if you need to refer back to what you said in an application
before an interview.
Updating an Application
If you want to refine an application before sending it:
- Open the application
- Edit the CV or cover letter text directly
- Download the updated PDF
Changes are saved automatically.
Deleting an Application
If an application is no longer relevant, you can delete it from your dashboard.
Deletion is permanent.
Staying Organised
A few habits that help during an active job search:
- Update statuses promptly so your dashboard reflects reality
- Add a note to your calendar for follow-up dates
- Review your rejection patterns — if you’re getting rejected at CV stage,
it may be worth reviewing your profile completeness
