Getting Started

What is SnapCV?

SnapCV is a job application tool that generates tailored CVs and cover letters
for specific job listings. You build your profile once, then generate a
customised application for each role in seconds.

Is the free plan really free?

Yes. The Free plan is free forever, no credit card required. You get 3
applications per month to try out the platform.

What do I need to set up before I can generate applications?

At minimum you need:

  • Some work experience or education in your profile
  • A job listing to generate for

The more complete your profile, the better the output. A full profile with
experience, education, skills, and a summary produces the strongest results.

Generating Applications

How does SnapCV tailor my CV to a job listing?

When you paste in a job description, SnapCV analyses the requirements and
matches them against your profile. It selects and highlights the experience,
skills, and achievements most relevant to that role, and writes a cover letter
that speaks directly to what the company is looking for.

What counts as one application?

Each time you generate a CV and cover letter for a specific job listing, that
uses one application credit. Re-downloading or editing a previously generated
application does not use an additional credit. Your quota resets at the start of
each billing cycle.

Can I edit the generated documents?

Yes. Every generated document can be reviewed and edited before you download it.
Most users find the first draft is strong enough to send with only small
changes.

How long does generation take?

Usually under 30 seconds.

Profile & Data

Do I need to re-enter my information for every application?

No. You enter your profile once and it’s used for all applications. The only
thing you provide each time is the job listing.

Can I have multiple CVs or profile variations?

Currently SnapCV maintains one profile per account. The tailoring happens at the
application level — each generated CV is already customised for the role you’re
applying to.

What happens if I run out of applications?

You can upgrade your plan at any time to increase your monthly quota
immediately. Your quota resets at the start of your next billing cycle.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel anytime from your account settings. Your plan stays active until the
end of the current billing period and does not auto-renew.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. Contact us within 7
days of payment for a full refund.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and digital wallets. Payments
are processed securely.

Privacy & Security

Is my profile data private?

Yes. Your profile and all generated documents are only accessible to you. We do
not share or sell your data.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your profile,
all applications, and all generated documents. Export your documents first if
you want to keep them.

What data do you store?

We store your profile information (work history, education, skills, personal
data) and the applications you generate. We use this data only to provide the
service.

Technical

Which browsers are supported?

All modern browsers — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping
your browser up to date.

Do you have a mobile app?

Not yet. The web app is mobile-responsive and works well on phone and tablet. A
native app is on the roadmap.

I found a bug. What should I do?

Email support with a description of what happened, your browser, and any
screenshots. Starter and Career Boost users get priority responses.
